Clinics and Classes

***NEW FIELD MECHANICS CLINIC FOR SUNDAY 2/26***

San Ramon will be having an additional On-Field Mechanics clinic on Sunday
2/26 for those who cannot make the 2/18 clinic.  The clinic will run from
3:00-6:00pm and will be at the Windemere Middle School 60' field.

Field Mechanics Clinics

All first year umpires need to attend a Field Mechanics Clinic.  This clinic is
done on the Ball Field, and goes over the needed fundamentals of how to
umpire a game. You cannot be a beginning umpire for SRUA unless you attend
a Field Mechanics Clinic.

SRUA will be holding the Field Mechanics Clinic at the Pine Valley Middle
School Fields 1 & 2 on Saturday February 18th running from 9:00am to
approximately 12:00(1st and 2nd year umpires). We will also be holding an
intermediate clinic (3rd year + umpires) running from 1-3:00pm.

Livermore  will be offering a clinic for Beginning Mechanics on Sunday Feb.
12th from 1:00 to 4:00 at the Junction Middle School.  You will need to email
us if you wish to go to this clinic.

Danville will be offering a clinic for Beginning Mechanics on Saturday Feb. 11th
from 8:00am to 12:00pm at the Sycamore Valley Park.  You will need to email
us if you wish to go to this clinic.

Classroom Training

SRUA will be holding our classroom Clinics on February 14th, 15th, and 16th
running from 6:00 to 9:00pm at the Bollinger Canyon Elementary School
Multipurpose room.   

Beginning Rules (All 1st year umpires): Feb 14 and Feb 16 from 6-7:30pm.

Intermediate Rules (All other youth umpires): Feb 15 from 6-7:30pm and Feb
16 from 7:30-9pm.

Game Management (All Umpires): Feb 14 and Feb 15 from 7:30-9pm.

We would like to see all our first year umpires attend the Beginning Rules
Clinic, and a Game Management Clinic.

We would like to see all our second year plus year umpires attend the
Intermediate Rules Clinic, and a Game Management Clinic.
